Diatomaceous Stone Dish Drying Mat

A folded tea towel under the drying rack stays damp all day and smells by Thursday. This mat is cut from diatomaceous earth stone, a porous mineral that draws water off a glass and lets it leave from the surface instead of soaking through to the counter. A poured spill disappears in roughly sixty seconds, which is faster than fabric or plastic manage. The slatted panels fold together so the whole mat rolls off the counter into a cupboard.

• Porous Stone Surface: Water wicks into the mineral instead of pooling under your glasses.
• Clears In About A Minute: A spill on the surface is gone in roughly sixty seconds.
• Folds For Storage: Slatted panels roll together so the mat slides into a cupboard.
• Takes A Full Rack: Wide enough to sit under a loaded dish rack or a run of stemware.
• Counter Friendly Finish: Veined stone reads as part of the worktop, not a plastic tray.

Note: Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and let it air dry fully before you load it again. Do not cut, drill or sand this stone, because working it dry releases fine mineral dust that should not be breathed. Keep it off direct heat, and lift rather than drag it, since the panel edges can chip.
